The Old Newtonians Rugby Football Club is based on the A47,
Hinckley Road, Leicester Forest East, Leicester, LE3 3PJ
The Old Newtonians are a very successful local Rugby club with a strong tradition. They were originaly founded in 1904 by members of the Alderman Newton School and were reformed in June 1928.
We welcome players of ALL positions, ability and experience.
Whether you are a seasoned player or novice there is a place for you.
The Old Newtonians put out three teams every Saturday, the first team playing in Midlands 4 (South).
The club is well known throughout the county for being a very friendly and sociable club,
which plays the game hard and then parties harder.
With our coaching team, there are plenty of opportunities to develop new skills or practice old ones.
Training starts at 7pm each Tuesday and new players are always welcome to come along and join in.
Or if training isn't your thing why not bring your boots on a Saturday and join in with one of
our social sides, but be warned we can get quite social at times.
We are actively building our squads so come along and be part of a growing club,
which has time for all its members.
Tourists & Tour parties are always welcome.
Why not simply visit us, relax and watch

throughout the day in our friendly bar and see some live rugby too.
